Mbuluzi Game Reserve is a privately owned game reserve operating as a share block development.
Mbuluzi is a perfect overnight stop for holiday travelers between Mozambique and South Africa as it is only a short distance from two borders entering Mozambique and one to South Africa.
The reserve offers visitor accommodation in a number of varying luxury family lodges, situated on the banks of the Mlawula River as well as in a quiet and secluded campsite along the Mbuluzi River.

The terraces over the river are just magic
Mbuluzi Game Reserve was one of our favorites during our South Africain and Swaziland trip, a wonderful "nature" stage. We stayed 2 nights at the Liphiva Lodge which is very beautiful, well-equipped, comfortable, and clean. The terraces over the river are just magic, we have seen lots of nyalas and a giraffe while staying there. There are many paths that you can take for a walk (or by bike)... Read this review

One of Africa's best secrets!
Stayed at Imfihlo lodge. Loved absolutely everything. Birding is top notch with Green and Pink Throated Twinspots, Thick billed Cuckoo and 185 other spp on a winter list. Walking, cycling, drives, beautiful views. All staff were as always very friendly and helpful. Lodge just stunning. Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. Can't wait to go back.
